One of my most complex sabers so far, this red and white pattern is created using the natural wood grain colors of Maple (white) and Padauk (red). These wood species were carefully sandwiched together to recreate the design of Leia’s hilt with no paint or colored finishes! The unique grip pattern is also made using Maple. It rests on a stand made from Walnut and at the right angle, it even appears to float.
