How did this start?
I spent a lot of money to get a degree in Industrial Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon graduating I realized that the jobs I was now prepared for didn’t exactly “fit” my personal idea of a fulfilling career so I began trying to figure out exactly what it was I was looking for. I started out by making Wooden Beer Koozies (yes, you read that correctly) with my dad and my brother, but after about 5 years of production, I started to lose my connection to the product and wanted to make other things… Now, I’ve always been a big fan of science fiction. Every book I’ve ever read took place on another planet, every show I watched had some kind of spaceship and every movie took place in the future. And with so much buzz about UFO’s/UAP’s it’s not hard to see how the idea for a Wooden UFO kind of fell into my lap! I never imagined it would take off (no pun intended) like it did and I was overwhelmed by the support and appreciation of my work! A lot of time, effort, creativity and planning goes into each Daily UFO and while I truly love what I do, the community of woodworking UFO-lovers surrounding me continues to motivate me every day. So join me on my current mission to have some of my art blasted into space on a SpaceX rocket and enjoy some woodworking and fun stories along the way!
