Hand-turned from a light colored wood known as Catalpa, this hilt represents the dark side! Assembled from multiple sections, this hilt takes on an iconic curved shape with intricate details added along its exterior including a cross-hatched pattern on the Walnut section at the bottom a long, narrow strip made from Maple as the easily recognizable spike sticking off the end. Other greebles are made from Padauk and Orange Osage giving vibrant red and yellow tones. It sits atop a base made from an Elm Burl and can be displayed flipped up or down.
