This UFO is floating over its base! The craft itself has a wing made from Sapele and a cockpit made from Walnut, the two being separated by a ring of Padauk which adds an orange highlight. The craft is hovering through the use of a magnetic levitation system over a miniature landscape. At the front of the base are a series of crop circles left behind by the alien visitors!
(Note to buyer for setup: This base MUST be plugged in for the magnetic levitation to work. Once plugged in, carefully move the UFO about one inch from the surface, keeping it as level as possible. You will feel a subtle "groove" at which point you can let go and the UFO will float. keep in mind, these magnets are STRONG, it may help to keep a finger or hand planted on the base while maneuvering the UFO into place so that it doesn't slip off and stick to the base.)
